Position Overview:
We are expanding our IT team to better support our long-term business for continued success. We need a specialist to take the lead on our software ecosystem. You will be the primary owner of our SQL & IIS Servers, ERP system, and custom business applications. Your experience will guide these systems through the entire lifecycle—from maintaining existing tools to recommending and/or building the next generation of applications.
*This position is onsite at the Du-Co offices in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania and may require occasional travel to our Monroe, North Carolina facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Database & Web Server: Manage and optimize SQL Server and Microsoft Access; maintain and configure IIS environments.
- Development: Acting as the internal lead for application maintenance and new development, you will interact directly with the end users to understand their needs and consult with management to tailor applications accordingly.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with our IT Director on security initiatives and system integrations as needed, providing backup coverage when the Director is unavailable.
- End-User Support: As part of a small, agile team, you will provide direct support to our staff when technical issues arise.
- Self-motivated: As part of a small team, you must work collaboratively to meet the needs of users and management.
- Independent Minded: You will be the resident expert, but still a team member.
- Adaptable: Small businesses are dynamic, the ability to pivot quickly is crucial.
- Sleuth: You will need to be able to decipher and adapt existing code.
- Experience: We are looking for someone with at least four years of relevant experience.
- Education: If you have a bachelor’s degree in information technology or other relevant field, you will be well positioned to take on the job responsibilities.
